Jon Wright

Jon Wright has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, currently serving as an Expert Reviewer for the Technology Strategy Board and a Consultant for The Research Network since July 2012. Additionally, Jon has been a Reviewer for the Wellcome Trust since August 2011. Previously, Jon was the Vice President of Medicinal Chemistry at BioDuro from June 2007 to April 2011, where responsibilities included building drug discovery services and leading a multinational team. From April 2001 to February 2007, Jon held the position of Senior Director at Celgene, overseeing research strategies and resource allocation. Jon's career also includes roles as Associate Research Fellow at PGRD from 1990 to 2001 and Senior Chemist at GSK from 1987 to 1990. Jon holds a degree from Imperial College London, completed between 1979 and 1985.
