Richard Everett

Richard Everett currently serves as the Head of Photography at Wellcome Collection, overseeing a team of photographers to produce high-quality imagery aligned with the organization’s new strategic vision. With a long tenure at Wellcome Trust since 1993, Richard has held various roles, including Director of the Wellcome Trust Defined Benefit pension plan and Photographic & Imaging Manager, where responsibilities included leading teams in delivering professional photographic services. Richard's experience extends to leadership as Chairman of the Association for Historical and Fine Art Photography, along with roles at notable institutions such as Christie's, The British Library, and The London Hospitals Limited, as well as foundational experience as a darkroom technician. Academically, Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Imaging and an HND in Photography & Design.
