Jennifer Friedman

Jennifer Friedman's work experience includes serving as the Department Head for Elementary Literacy at Wellesley Public Schools since September 2015. Prior to that, they worked independently as an Educational Consultant starting in 2012. From 2009 to 2016, they were a Staff Developer at the Teaching and Learning Alliance. Jennifer also worked as a Literacy Coach at Boston Public Schools from 2001 to 2014. Jennifer began their career in education as a Kindergarten and First Grade Teacher at Boston Public Schools from 1993 to 2000.

Jennifer Friedman completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from Boston University, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Early Childhood Education and Teaching at Wheelock College from 1992 to 1993. Continuing their academic journey, they attended Harvard Graduate School of Education for the year 2000 to 2001, where they obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Human Development and Psychology.
