Gareth Jones

Gareth Jones is an accomplished leader in the health and fitness industry, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Wellfit since November 2020, where responsibilities include developing health, fitness, and wellness strategies for Arada in the UAE. Previously, Gareth held various roles at Fitness First Middle East from 2009 to 2020, demonstrating expertise in operations management across multiple countries, overseeing 19 clubs and 20,000 members while focusing on P&L delivery and service excellence. Earlier experience includes leadership positions at David Lloyd Leisure, where Gareth managed club operations and new openings, thriving in the fitness sector since starting as a Leisure Assistant with Birmingham City Council in 1994.
