Cristian Valdes

Cristian Valdes has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Currently, they are working as a Product Lead / Lead Product Designer at Wellfound (formerly AngelList Talent), where they are leading the design for an AI-driven sourcing product called RecruiterCloud. Previously, at the same company, they were the Business Lead of an innovation team called Sponge, where they reimagined job listings to improve the candidate and company experience.

Before that, they worked at AngelList as a Lead Product Designer, handling the design process for different projects. Prior to that, they co-founded Corso Protection Services and worked as a Co-Founder.

In their earlier career, Cristian worked at Tuft & Needle as a Lead UX Designer, where they focused on the purchase experience and design systems. Cristian also served as a Senior UX Designer, leading growth initiatives and mentoring junior and intermediate designers.
