Troy Schlines has a diverse work experience in the veterinary field. Troy is currently working as the Director of Medical Development for WellHaven Pet Health, a role they started in October 2021. Prior to this, they held various roles at the same company, including Director of Veterinary Operations Consultant for Vancouver and Portland, Principal Veterinarian at WellHaven Pet Health in Mill Plain, and Veterinarian.

Before joining WellHaven Pet Health, Schlines worked at Banfield Pet Hospital for a significant portion of their career. Troy'sroles at Banfield included Field Director, Medical Director, and Partner/Chief of Staff in different locations. In these positions, they were responsible for overseeing hospital operations, managing teams, and ensuring medical quality and financial performance.

Schlines also has experience from their early career, having worked as a Lead Veterinarian at Granite City Pet Hospital and an Associate Veterinarian at Dickinson County Veterinary Clinic.

Troy Schlines began their education at Morningside University in 1986, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Chemistry with a focus on Molecular Biology. Troy completed this degree in 1990. Following their undergraduate studies, they attended Iowa State University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in Veterinary Medicine.
