Andres Armijos

Andres Armijos has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on Latin America. Andres is currently serving as the Head of Latin America at Welligence Energy Analytics, where they apply machine learning to exploration, production, and emissions data. Prior to this, Andres held various roles at Halliburton, including Commercial Manager - Latam and Senior Manager Planning and Project Controls. In these positions, they directed capital investment planning, portfolio asset value optimization, and the controls function throughout the project life cycle. Before Halliburton, Andres worked as a Consultant at Wood Mackenzie, where they engaged in strategic planning and financial modeling for the oil and gas industry, particularly in the Latin-American region and North America. Andres also gained consulting experience at Arthur D. Little, MRE Consulting, and Deloitte Consulting, where they worked on projects in various industries such as consumer business and healthcare. Andres began their career as a Finance Intern at ConocoPhillips. Overall, they possess a diverse range of skills and expertise in the energy sector.

Andres Armijos completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business, from 2002 to 2006.
