Zachary Ferguson

Director, Clinical Risk Management at WellMed

Zachary Ferguson is the Manager of Health and Safety at WellMed. Zachary was previously a Technical Training Instructor for the United States Air Force from August 2013 to August 2019. During their time in the Air Force, Zachary instructed over 2000 teaching hours on subjects such as Anatomy and Physiology, Basic and Advanced Nursing, and Emergency Medical Services. Zachary also managed scheduling procedures for six instructors, coordinating 240 teaching hours every week. Zachary improved instructor competencies through subject matter expert (SME) scheduling and structuring process.

Zachary Ferguson has a Master of Public Health from Texas A&M University in the field of epidemiology, a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in health/health care administration/management, a Bachelor of Science from Southern New Hampshire University in health/health care administration/management, an Associate of Arts and Sciences from the Community College of the Air Force in educational/instructional technology, and an Associate of Science from the Community College of the Air Force in health services/allied health/health sciences, general. Additionally, Zachary Ferguson has certification from ASQ - World Headquarters in yellow belt, certification from Project Management Institute in certified associate in project management, and certification from National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) in certified professional in healthcare quality (CPHQ).
