Haoliang Jiang started to work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for the Economics Department at the University of California, Berkeley, in September 2019, until December the same year. Later, from January 2019 to May 2020, they served as the Student Club President for the Berkeley Exposure Photography Club, where they managed the professional photography club and held an exhibition sponsored by the Berkeley Department of Art. From June to August 2020, they worked as a Data Science Intern for Xaltius, where they optimized an XGBoost loan default prediction model and constructed a CNN model to predict the stock market sentiment. From August to December 2020, they worked as a Data Science Extern for AnChain.AI, where they analyzed market sentiment and designed a dashboard displaying real-time predictions. Haoliang also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, from September 2019 to May 2021, where they conducted market research, designed a web-scraping bot, and proposed a supply-side instrumental variable strategy. From May to July 2022, they worked as a Data Scientist Research Intern (Data+ Program) for the Duke University Graduate School, where they evaluated and compared the performance of handwriting recognition models and constructed a machine learning pipeline on AWS using Lambda & Textract. Currently, they work at Wellnecity as a Healthcare Business Analyst since June 2023.

Haoliang Jiang earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Data Science at the University of California, Berkeley between 2017 and 2021. Currently, Haoliang is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Data Science at Duke University, a program in which they are expected to graduate by 2023.
