Wim Petermans

Wim Petermans is currently the Managing Director, EMEA, Russia & Africa at WellPet. Prior to this, they were the CEO & Co-Owner of Eden Chocolates from February 2010 to August 2015. Eden Chocolates is an innovative chocolate company with Belgian roots in the very traditional chocolate industry. Their mission is "to offer the pure indulgence of high quality chocolates at affordable prices to consumers". All of their chocolates are made with high quality ingredients and produced and packed under one roof. Their chocolates are not frozen nor shipped to other locations for repacking. All recipes have been developed by a Belgian Chocolate Master with over 20 years experience.

Suzhou based Eden Chocolates holds a BRC A, IFS, ISO and HACCP certificate and is Sedex and WCA approved. Audits are conducted by more then 20 global customers on QA, ethical and safety standards. Financial support was given by Gimv, CBDEF and Mitiska.

Previously, Wim Petermans was the Director of Retail Sales in EMEA at Paramount Farms from August 2007 to January 2010. Prior to that, they were the Owner of RC&S. Wim Petermans started their career as an Account Director at Unilever Belgium from October 2001 to July 2007.

Wim Petermans attended Vlerick Business School, where they received their MBA. Wim also has a Master's degree in Law from KU Leuven, as well as a degree in Latin Greek from Aangenomen College St-Truiden.
