Joel Zawada is an experienced marketing and communications professional with a strong background in design and digital media. Currently serving as a Designer and Digital Specialist at Wellpoint Care Network since November 2018, Joel has expanded responsibilities in brand strategy, project management, and social media advertising. Previous roles include Digital Media Specialist, where focus was on online advertising execution and reporting, and Consultant, where Joel enhanced website maintenance and developed targeted Mailchimp campaigns. As Owner and Creative Director of Ampersand Theater Company from 2015 to 2020, Joel successfully led the company from monthly shows to a crowdfunded theater venue. Experience as a Consultant for Pathfinders involved rebranding efforts and securing a significant grant. Joel's decade-long tenure as Communications Coordinator at Make-A-Wish Wisconsin included shaping the brand's art direction and fundraising initiatives. Joel holds an Associate of Applied Arts degree in Graphic Design from Milwaukee Area Technical College.
