Alicia Rebecca Myers has extensive experience in English education, currently serving as a Visiting Instructor in English at Wells College since August 2017 and also working as an Essay Advisor for College Essay Advisors since August 2015. Previously, Alicia held adjunct instructor positions in composition and English at Ithaca College and Wells College, respectively. Additionally, Alicia has taught at the Iowa Summer Writing Festival and Iowa Young Writers' Studio, focusing on writing courses. Early career roles include a personal assistant to poet Sharon Olds at New York University and a travel consultant/writer for Global Escapes Inc. Alicia holds an MFA in Creative Writing from New York University, a Master’s in English/Creative Writing from The University of Georgia, and a BA in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
