Britney Appelgate

Britney Appelgate serves as the AVP, Lead Community Impact and Sustainability Specialist at Wells Fargo, where responsibilities include overseeing philanthropy efforts in multiple states and fostering relationships with community stakeholders. Prior experience includes serving as Director at Capital Crossroads, where strategic initiatives were implemented, and as Executive Assistant at The Harkin Institute, where coordination of scholarship programs and community events took place. Britney also held an internship at Greater Des Moines Partnership focusing on policy research, and worked as an Undergraduate Assistant at Simpson College, organizing lectures on Iowa history. Additional experience includes an internship with the Iowa Department of Human Rights, collaborating with the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and contributing to community engagement initiatives.
