Heather Hunt-Ruddy is head of Client Experience and Growth at Wells Fargo Advisors. In this role, she is responsible for driving company growth through new and experienced advisor recruiting; coaching, development, and productivity programs; and delivering a positive experience for internal and external clients. She also sits on the Operating Committee and reports directly to the head of Wells Fargo Advisors.

Heather began her career in financial services in 1989. Since that time, she has worked in various areas of the business, including client service, fixed income, marketing, strategy, sales management, and branch and regional leadership. She joined Wells Fargo Advisors 25 years ago and has held management positions at branch offices in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Ohio. Before accepting her current role, she was regional president for the Gateway region for three years.

In addition to her primary responsibilities, Heather champions efforts that promote diversity and inclusion in all aspects of business and at all levels at Wells Fargo Advisors. Her leadership earned her a place on the InvestmentNews “Women to Watch” list for 2018, and earned Wells Fargo Advisors the “Corporate Champion for Diversity and Inclusion Award” by the St. Louis Business Journal in 2018 – thanks in part to the Diverse Client Segments team that Heather founded in 2017. She also co-chairs the company’s Women’s initiatives and spearheaded the Center for Inclusive Leadership at Wells Fargo Advisors in 2019.

Heather received a bachelor’s degree from DePaul University and is a graduate of the Securities Industry Association (SIA) Institute at Wharton. She holds Series 3, 7, 24, 65, 9, and 10 securities registrations. Outside of work, nothing means more to Heather than family. She has been married for 25 years to Robert and is a proud mother to three children: Connor, Grace, and Rachel.
