Wes Egan is the head of Partnerships, Teams and Succession Planning at Wells Fargo Advisors. His team is responsible for forging and strengthening relationships between Wells Fargo Advisors and other lines of business to help meet the full balance sheet needs of our clients. The team also supports the formation and development of Financial Advisor teams, conducts team consulting and team business planning, develops reporting and recognition tools, and builds succession programs for retiring advisors. Wes sits on the Operating Committee and reports directly to the head of Wells Fargo Advisors.

Wes has been in the financial services business since 1989. He has held various roles at the company, including head of Private Wealth Financial Advisor Services, in which he oversaw Private Wealth Financial Advisor training, onboarding and compensation, the High Net-Worth Partnership between Wells Fargo Private Bank and Wells Fargo Advisors, and more. Other prior roles include director of National Sales for the bank brokerage channel, regional manager, and financial advisor – all at Wells Fargo Advisors.

Wes is a native of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and earned a bachelor’s in economics and international studies from UNC-Chapel Hill.

He and his wife, Kim, live in Charlotte, North Carolina, and have three children: Katherine, 23; Will, 20; and Sophie, 17.
