Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve
Lynne Vachon boasts a diverse professional background with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as the Volunteer and Visitor Services Coordinator at Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve since 2016, Lynne has also held multiple positions at Curran Plumbing, Heating and Gas Piping since 2012, including Plumbing Assistant and Principal Van Driver, logging over 4,000 hours in the field. Prior experience includes Lead Health Coach at The Full Yield, Inc., Personal Trainer and Owner of OakTree Pilates and Fitness, and a role as Curator of Education and Public Programs at The Currier Museum of Art, where Lynne expanded the school tour program by twenty percent. Additionally, Lynne initiated a successful historical research project resulting in a published book about a Sicilian-American family. Lynne holds two Master's degrees in American History from the University of New Hampshire.

Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve
The Wells Reserve at Laudholm is a National Estuarine Research Reserve with its headquarters listed on the National Register of Historic Places. MISSION: The Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve works to expand knowledge about coasts and estuaries, engage people in environmental learning, and involve communities in conserving natural resources, all with a goal of protecting and restoring coastal ecosystems around the Gulf of Maine. Wells Reserve funding comes primarily from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and Laudholm Trust, a member-supported 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
