A. Scott Garrety

A. Scott Garrety, MBA, SGE has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. A. Scott began their career in 1993 as the Director of Environmental Services at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital, where they served for nearly three decades until October 2022. During this time, they also became a Board Member at the Susquenanna Valley Chamber of Commerce from January 1994 to December 2014. In 2009, they joined OSHA as a Special Government Employee and held this position until December 2022. In March 2020, they became the Director of Guest Services at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health, a role they held until January 2023. In January 2023, they transitioned to the role of Director of Environmental Services at WellSpan Health - York Hospital. Additionally, in April 2023, they assumed the responsibility as the Director of Operations at WellSpan Health.

A. Scott Garrety, MBA, SGE has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Lebanon Valley College, which they obtained from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications/Broadcasting from Millersville University of Pennsylvania from 1985 to 1998. In addition, they hold a certification as a Certified Just Culture Champion from Outcome Engenuity, which they obtained in 2019.
