Elaine Bonneau

Elaine Bonneau currently serves as the Director of Downtown Inc, the business improvement organization for the City of York and an affiliate of the York County Economic Alliance. Bonneau joined Downtown Inc in January 2019 and currently leads the daily operations of the Downtown Inc office and serves as the primary point of contact for the business community and other city stakeholders.

Bonneau has a background in advertising/marketing and business development, working with both national and local companies, government agencies and nonprofit organizations, including Citigroup, Centers for Disease Control and the Department of Energy. She brings more than 20 years of experience and is passionate about connecting the right people with the right resources, especially when it comes to working with small businesses.

Bonneau previously served on the board of directors for the American Red Cross of Central Maryland, Susan G. Komen Maryland, Girl Scouts of Central Maryland and U.S. Hispanic Youth Entrepreneur Education among others. She was a 2010 recipient of the Susan G. Komen Maryland Founders Award and the American Red Cross of Central Maryland’s William J. Casey Award for Community Commitment in 2009.
