Michele Zeigler

Michele Zeigler has diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Michele is currently working as the Senior Director of Business Informatics at WellSpan Health since January 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Information Services/CIO at Summit Health for almost 28 years from September 1993 to January 2021. During their tenure at Summit Health, they led the implementation of an integrated financial and clinical information system across all entities and developed an IS Contracted Services line of business for affiliated physicians. Before Summit Health, Michele served as the Director of Health Information Services at Aultman Hospital from April 1992 to August 1993, and as the Director of Case Mix Management at Bon Secours - Venice Regional Medical Center from January 1987 to April 1992.

Michele Zeigler earned an A.A.S. degree in Health Information Technology from SUNY Broome Community College in 1982. Michele then went on to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management from Ithaca College between 1982 and 1984. Most recently, they completed a Master's Degree in Medical Informatics at Northwestern University from 2012 to 2020.
