Carlos Velez

Carlos Velez has extensive experience in information systems and security. Carlos worked as the Director of Information Systems and Security at Wellspring Philanthropic Fund since April 2018. Prior to that, they were the IT Manager at the same company from May 2013. Before joining Wellspring, Carlos served as a Network Administrator at Cisneros Group of Companies from January 2002 to May 2013. Carlos also worked as a Systems Administrator at Streeter Technologies, Inc. from January 2000 to December 2001, and as a European Private Banking Assistant at Union Bank of Switzerland from January 1997 to December 1999.

Carlos Velez holds a PMP Certification in Information Technology Project Management, which they obtained from NYU in 2012. Carlos also has a Bachelors degree in Communications, Spanish, and Latin American Studies from Rutgers Business School, which they earned from 1994 to 1997. In addition to their degrees, Carlos has obtained the Box Certified Professional (BCP) certification from Box in August 2018 and the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute in May 2013.
