Caroline Afonso

Caroline Afonso is currently serving as a Grants Management Assistant at Wellspring Philanthropic Fund, a private foundation focused on human rights and justice, since March 2022. Prior to this role, Caroline worked as an Office Coordinator at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from January 2020 to February 2022, where responsibilities included administrative support for clinical teams, managing electronic medical records, and leading a data reconciliation project. Caroline also completed internships at Robert Wood Johnson Wellness Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Rutgers University’s Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Health/Health Care Administration from Rutgers University and ongoing pursuit of a Master of Public Health in Global Health at Rutgers School of Public Health.
