Connor de la Cruz

Connor de la Cruz has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Connor started their career at Wellspring Worldwide in 2020, where they worked as a Software Engineer. During their time there, they collaborated with business teams to analyze problems, develop solutions, and integrate closely with QA and Ops teams to deliver high-quality software and systems.

Prior to Wellspring Worldwide, Connor worked at Schafer Condon Carter (SCC) as a Full Stack Developer from 2018 to 2019. Connor developed a boilerplate framework for building websites and a framework for frontend test automation. Connor also developed and managed sites using Django, Wagtail, and Adobe Experience Manager.

Before SCC, Connor gained experience at Wheaton College. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Web Application Developer, creating responsive user interfaces and contributing to the open-source project for the library's electronic resource management system. Connor also worked as a Student Tech Supervisor in 2017, managing and training student techs on troubleshooting and office procedures. Connor also held other positions at Wheaton College, including IT Developer, IT Support Technician, and Software Deployment Intern, where they gained experience in various technical support roles and software management.

In 2017, Connor interned at the Wheaton College Computer Science Department as a CS Configuration Management Intern. During this internship, they implemented SaltStack as a configuration management system for the Computer Science lab and collaborated with the system administrator using git, Bitbucket, and Trello. Connor also made contributions to the SaltStack open-source project on GitHub.
