Kimberly Scott

Kimberly Scott, MHA, LSSBB, currently serves as the Director of Financial Operations at Kennestone Regional Medical Center within the Wellstar Health System since June 2012, progressing through various managerial roles in financial and clinical resource management. Kimberly has led significant initiatives such as the CLEAR Lungs program aimed at reducing post-operative complications and the implementation of LEAN practices across the organization. Previously, Kimberly held the position of Southeast IHI Open School Regional Leader, coordinating educational programs and supporting new chapter development. Experience also includes a role as Project Coordinator for the South Carolina Hospital Association, where contributions were made to statewide safety programs and educational events. Educational qualifications include a Master of Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina.
