Mark Charlson

Mark Charlson serves as the Vice President of Surgery at WellStar Health System since June 2016. Prior to this role, Mark held various leadership positions at Wake Forest Baptist Health from May 2012 to June 2016, including Administrative Director for both the Urology and Digestive Health Service Lines, CEO of Wake Forest Baptist Health Outpatient Endoscopy LLC, and Associate Director of Operations. Mark also completed an Administrative Fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist Health from June 2011 to May 2012, with earlier experience at PSA, LLC as a Contract Variance specialist and an Administrative Intern at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in 2010. Mark holds a Master's degree in Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Banking and Finance from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business.
