Tonia Benefield

Tonia Benefield, MSA, PMP, currently serves as Executive Director of Enterprise Platforms at WellStar Health System, a position held since April 2015, where leadership of a 55-member team focuses on operational excellence and strategic guidance for over 200 enterprise applications. Prior to this, Tonia worked as IT Manager for Enterprise Applications at WellStar, enhancing ERP stability and optimizing functionality. Tonia's experience also includes a role as Group Project Manager at Northside Hospital, overseeing program management in clinical and financial areas, and as IT Project Leader at WellStar, managing strategic IT projects through their lifecycle. Tonia holds a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and two Bachelor of Business Administration degrees from Winthrop University, one in Health Care Administration and Management.
