Dr. Manuel Nothelfer

Dr. Manuel Nothelfer has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Dr. Manuel is the Founder of Wellster Healthtech Group since June 2019 and also the Founder and CEO of NC Nothelfer Capital GmbH since March 2010. Dr. Nothelfer served as a Member of the Board of Advisors at ottonova from July 2020 to August 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Member of the Board of Management at ERGO Direkt AG from February 2017 to May 2019. Before that, they were COO/CMO & Managing Director at auxmoney GmbH, a leading marketplace for P2P-loans. Dr. Manuel also served as a Member of the global Management Team and CEO of Care.com Europe, where they had P&L responsibility for B2C markets outside of the US. Dr. Nothelfer was also the Co-Founder of Care.com Europe GmbH, where they built a European marketplace for family-related services. Dr. Manuel gained experience as a Senior Consultant/Project Leader at The Boston Consulting Group, particularly focusing on banking and industrial clients. Earlier in their career, they worked in Investment Banking at WestLB. Dr. Nothelfer's expertise includes strategy consulting, organizational development, post-merger integration, and financial services.

Dr. Manuel Nothelfer has an extensive education history. Dr. Manuel completed their apprenticeship as a bank clerk at WestLB AG from 1999 to 2001. Following this, they pursued their Vordiplom in Wirtschaftswissenschaften at FernUniversität in Hagen from 2001 to 2003. In 2003, they enrolled at Universität Witten/Herdecke, where they earned a Diplom Oekonom in Business Administration and Economics in 2005. To further enhance their expertise, Dr. Nothelfer studied abroad at The University of Western Australia in 2004, focusing on Business Administration. Dr. Manuel continued their academic journey at Universität Witten/Herdecke and obtained their Dr. rer. pol. in Business Administration and Economics from 2011 to 2016. Most recently, Dr. Nothelfer attended IMD in 2019, completing an Executive Education program in Digital Transformation.
