Melissa de la Cerda

Melissa de la Cerda is an experienced outreach manager currently at WellStone since May 2024. Prior roles include serving as the Women's Business Center Project Coordinator at The Catalyst Center for Business & Entrepreneurship from May 2022 to May 2024, and as a crisis responder for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in early 2022. Melissa's experience also encompasses case management as a case manager at PRIORITY VETERAN INC and social work for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs from 2018 to 2021, where case management services were provided to homeless veterans. Additional positions include monitoring court-ordered visitation at Family Services Center and social work internships at various organizations. Melissa holds a master's degree in social work from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University and a bachelor's degree in social work from Elizabeth City State University.
