Rachel Garner

Rachel Garner, PA-C, has extensive experience in providing medical care, currently serving as a Physician Assistant Certified at Piedmont Urgent Care by WellStreet since May 2021. In this role, Rachel manages a fast-paced clinic independently, diagnosing and treating patients of all ages, and leading a collaborative team of medical staff. Previous experience includes working in emergency medicine at Emory Healthcare and ApolloMD, where comprehensive emergency care was provided in high-volume settings. Education includes a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant from Mercer University and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Health Science and Health Services from Georgia College & State University. Rachel has also been actively involved in leadership roles during the academic career, including serving as the New Student Admissions Chair at Mercer University.
