Illana Welman

Illana Welman is an accomplished graphic designer with extensive experience in digital design and social media management. Currently serving as a Graphic Designer at WellTheory since September 2022 and at Uku Inbound since February 2021 in a freelance capacity, Illana has previously contributed as a graphic designer for FNB Art Joburg from March 2021 to March 2023 and managed social media and content creation at Freya Media from January 2021 to January 2023. Additional roles include a temporary contract as a Digital Designer at Hotjar in 2022, and exhibition organizing for the European Cultural Centre in 2020. Earlier positions encompass a studio internship at Broomberg and Chanarin and in-house contributions to The Lake Magazine, highlighting a diverse skill set in design, content sourcing, and photography. Illana holds various certificates in design and photography from reputable institutions, including Friends of Design and the Cape Town School of Photography.
