Angie Shepherd

Angie Shepherd, LBSW, has extensive experience in social work and program management focused on supporting vulnerable populations. Currently serving as the Elder Abuse Victims Specialist Program Manager at WellWise Services Area Agency on Aging since July 2011, Angie oversees initiatives that enhance the well-being of older adults and individuals with disabilities across multiple counties. Previously, Angie worked as a Supports Coordinator and Housing Advocate at Community Action Agency, where responsibilities included client case management and ensuring safe housing conditions. Earlier roles included Program Assistant at Kalamazoo County Michigan State University Extension, where Angie contributed to the Senior Nutrition Program, and Volunteer Coordinator for American Humanics Student Association, developing volunteer opportunities with local nonprofits. Angie holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Western Michigan University and a National Certification in Nonprofit and Leadership.
