Rustam Shafikov

Rustam Shafikov is a seasoned language professional with extensive experience in translation and linguistics. Currently serving as the Russian Language Lead at Welocalize since May 2022, Rustam has also maintained a successful freelance translation career since June 2005. Additional roles include translator positions at Pole To Win Europe Ltd. and OLX, as well as significant contributions at Translation Management Limited, Alchemic Dream, thebigword, and Mapi Group as a linguistic validator. Prior experience includes serving as a reviewer/translator for Ciena and a translator at Huawei Technologies. Rustam Shafikov holds a degree from NBTL, completed from 1995 to 1999.
