Sangmi Kweon

Sangmi Kweon is a highly experienced linguist specializing in Korean language services, currently serving as Lead Linguist at Welocalize since June 2017, where contributions include localizing content for major entertainment and streaming entities. With a freelance career spanning from September 1994 to present, Sangmi has engaged in subtitle translation and quality control, conference interpreting, and literary translation, demonstrating substantial expertise across diverse genres and formats. Sangmi has also held key roles in companies such as Plint as Korean Language Lead, and gained experience in positions such as Senior Linguist at an entertainment company, Korean Editorial Manager at Quill Content, and language reviewer at Rosettastone.
