Andreas Losch has extensive experience in various roles within the humanitarian sector. Andreas started their career in 1993 as an Officer in non-technical service at German Railway. From there, they worked as a Dispatcher at L. Stroetmann GmbH & Co in 1996. In 2004, they joined the German Red Cross as a Delegate in Lesotho, and later as a Finance Delegate in Indonesia. Losch also served as a Human Resources Officer in 2005 within the same organization. In 2006, they joined Welthungerhilfe as a Logistics Officer in DPR Korea, and eventually became the Deputy Director of Procurement & Logistics in 2008.

Andreas Losch began their education in 1991 at the German Railway, where they pursued a degree in Officer non-technical service until 1993. Andreas then studied at L. Stroetmann GmbH & Co. from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained a degree in Wholesale and foreign trade merchant. In 1998, they briefly attended Fachhochschule Gelsenkirchen to study Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen. Finally, they graduated from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Dortmund in 2004 with a degree in Diplom-Betriebswirt (FH) specializing in Wirtschaft.
