James Matipwiri

James Matipwiri is an experienced professional in project management and monitoring and evaluation, currently serving as the Global Coordinator and MEAL Expert II at Welthungerhilfe since August 2022. Previously, James worked as a Monitoring Evaluation and Research Officer at Tumaini Letu from February to August 2022 and held roles including Impact Evaluation Coordinator and Projects Officer at CorpsAfrica from October 2017 to November 2021, focusing on project design, implementation, and development processes. Earlier experience includes working as an M&E Assistant at Population Services International, where responsibilities included project monitoring and data analysis. James holds a Bachelor of Education (Science) with specializations in Physics/Electronics and Environmental Chemistry from the University of Malawi (2011-2015) and is pursuing an MSc in Project Management at the Malawi Institute of Management (October 2022 - June 2024).
