Shafqat Baloch

Shafqat Baloch is an experienced professional in agricultural development and livelihoods with a focus on Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) and Food Security. Currently serving as a Livelihood Coordinator at Welthungerhilfe since October 2024, Shafqat previously held positions such as Programme Manager and Food Security and Livelihoods Coordinator at Muslim Aid Pakistan, where emphasis was placed on capacity-building and developing proposals within the humanitarian-development-peace nexus. Prior roles include Partnership Facilitator with FAO, District Secretary with Pakistan Red Crescent Society, and various consultative and advisory positions with organizations like HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation, Danish Refugee Council, and IUCN. Educational background includes M.Phil. degrees in Rural Development and Agriculture from Gomal University and Agricultural University, Peshawar.
