Olaf Gersemann has extensive experience in journalism, particularly in the fields of economics and finance. Since October 2007, Olaf has held various positions at WELT, including Stellvertretender Chefredakteur and Ressortleiter Wirtschaft und Finanzen. Prior to this, Olaf served as Teamleiter Ausland at Financial Times Deutschland from July 2005 to September 2007 and worked as the US-Korrespondent and Redakteur at WirtschaftsWoche from November 1996 to March 2005. Earlier in his career, Olaf was a Redakteur at Handelsblatt for a brief period. Olaf Gersemann holds a Diplom in Volkswirtschaftslehre from the University of Cologne and studied at Trinity College Dublin from 1993 to 1994.
