Amber Hancock

Amber N. Hancock is an accomplished professional in the field of chemistry, currently serving as the Director of Applied Chemistry at Welwaze Medical, Inc. since November 2021. Previously, Amber held the position of Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Bennington College from July 2018 to December 2021, and completed postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Melbourne and the ARC Centre for Excellence in Free Radical Chemistry and Biotechnology. Amber's expertise encompasses green chemistry, physical organic chemistry, synthetic organic chemistry, computational chemistry, photochemistry, radicals, and kinetics. Amber earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physical Chemistry from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Chemistry from Radford University.
