Nancy Bleys

Nancy Bleys possesses extensive experience in the legal and social policy sectors. Currently serving as a Jurist at Vlaams Agentschap Uitbetaling Groeipakket since December 2020, Nancy also holds leadership roles as Voorzitter of Limburgs Steunpunt Lokaal Sociaal Beleid, Welzijnsregio Noord-Limburg, and Zorggroep Lommel. In addition, Nancy has been a Schepen for Social Policy, Care and Prevention, Integrated Safety and Housing in Stad Lommel since January 2019, a position that will extend to December 2024. Previous experience includes acting as a Legal Advisor for the Flemish Minister of Welfare, Public Health and Family Jo Vandeurzen from February 2010 to September 2019 and working as an attorney at Advocatenkantoor Bleys from September 1992 to January 2013. Nancy holds a Licentiate degree in Law and a Special License in Business Administration with a focus on Fiscal Law from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
