Emmanuel Mouren has been involved in a variety of roles in the past. Emmanuel began their career in 2003 as a Project Officer at Agoranov. In 2005, they moved to the General Directorate of Energy and Raw Materials as Deputy Head of Bureau. In 2007, they became an Advisor to the Minister of State at the Minister of State, Minister of Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development. In 2009, they took on the role of Project Manager at the Agence Française de Développement. In 2011, they became the Head of Strategy at Dexia. Most recently, in 2012, they co-founded and became the CEO of Wemap, a live map where users can receive messages from friends and news they want while creating their own pinpoints.

Emmanuel Mouren studied Mathematics and Economics at \u00c9cole Polytechnique from 1999 to 2002, earning a BS/MS degree. Emmanuel then attended Ecole nationale des Ponts et Chauss\u00e9es from 2002 to 2004, earning an MS in Economy, Management, and Finance. Emmanuel returned to Ecole nationale des Ponts et Chauss\u00e9es in 2004 and completed a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in 2005.
