Joakim Öfwerström

Joakim Öfwerström has worked in the manufacturing and logistics industries since 1997. Joakim started their career as a Production Supervisor and Quality (medical devices) and Projektledare Continous improvements at PartnerTech AB in 1997. Joakim then moved to Solectron Sweden AB in 2000 as a Production Manufacturing Manager. In 2001, they were a Production Manager at Bosch and then a Quality Manager at C.N.S Systems AB in 2003. From 2005 to 2017, they held various roles at Toyota Material Handling Europe, including Plant Quality Manager, Production Manager, and Supplier Development. From 2017 to 2021, they were Logistikchef at BE Group AB / BE Group Sverige AB and then Head of Operational Excellence and Group Quality Manager at Ymer Technology from 2021 to 2022. Joakim is currently COO at Wematter.

Joakim Öfwerström began their education in 1994 at Linköping University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Maskinteknik. In 2008, they attended Lund University and obtained an MBA (Executive Master of Business Administration) in Strategi, organisation, ekonomistyrning. In 2009, they attended Toyota i Japan, TICO, to gain specialist/fördjupad kunskap inom Toyota Production System. In 2013, they attended Styrelseakademien, where they earned a Certifierad styrelseledamot. Finally, in 2017-2018, they attended MiL Institute for Management träning.
