Rainer Lau

Rainer Lau has a diverse range of work experience. In 2009, they worked as an intern in the Evaluation Unit of the United Nations Volunteers. Rainer then became a Project Coordinator at Mary Cheung & Associates (Int'l) Ltd from 2010 to 2011. Starting in 2011, they worked at the Department of ENT (Division of Speech Therapy) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, first as a Research Assistant and then as a Project Coordinator. In 2015, Rainer joined RollAngle as a Trainee in Business Development and Marketing, and later became a Consultant in Business Development. In 2015, they also co-founded Buds Never Stop and served as the Co-Founder of BudsAlike. Rainer joined WeMine in 2015 and held various managerial roles including Manager of Partnership and Client Solutions, Manager of Business Development, and Assistant Manager of Business Development.

Rainer Lau completed their B.A. in Linguistics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in the years 2006 to 2010. In 2008 to 2009, they participated in an exchange year at The University of Bonn, where they focused on German Studies. Additionally, in 2016, they obtained a Private Pilot License (Canada) from the Sea Land Air Flight Centre, specializing in Aviation. Rainer Lau also possesses certifications in Computational Thinking for Problem Solving from the University of Pennsylvania (obtained in December 2020) and Strategic Partnerships from LinkedIn (obtained in October 2020).
