Yaniv Tarakanov

Yaniv Tarakanov has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Yaniv is currently working as a Senior Account Executive at Wenrix since February 2023. Yaniv was previously a Member of BizDevExec Club since March 2020.

From March 2021 to February 2023, Yaniv served as the VP of Business Development & Partnerships at a cyber startup company, where they built the company's channel partner program and contributed over 30% of the company's revenue in 2022.

Prior to that, Yaniv worked as the VP of Sales and Business Development at Ultra Information Solutions from August 2019 to July 2021. In this role, they led the market entry strategy in the APAC region, formed strategic partnerships, and built a $35M pipeline with over 20 accounts.

From May 2018 to August 2019, Yaniv was the Senior Director of Sales at a Cyber Security Company. Yaniv managed sales and partnerships on advanced Cyber intelligence projects, built a $20M pipeline, and mentored junior sales managers.

Yaniv also has experience as the Director of Sales and Business Development at Verint from May 2014 to April 2018, where they led sales of Communication Intelligence and Cyber Defense technology and achieved a 45% sales increase in the IL market.

Before that, they worked at the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel as a Field Sales Specialist from April 2010 to April 2014. Yaniv also served as a Business Development & Account Manager at VeriFone from March 2009 to April 2010, where they managed business development projects in Europe.

Yaniv's earlier roles include a Key Account Manager and Application Development Engineer at Applied Materials from December 2005 to February 2009. Yaniv worked closely with customers, defined marketing strategies, and built roadmap plans.

Yaniv'sfirst experience was as the Owner of Oryan Software from July 2004 to December 2005.

From 2001 to 2005, Yaniv Tarakanov attended the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering.
