Grant Hughes has over 25 years of work experience in finance and accounting. Grant began their career at Shea Labagh Dobberstein in 1996, where they served as an Accountant and IT Manager. In this role, they managed tax, bookkeeping, and audit clients, and led audits with teams of up to 4 accountants. Grant obtained their Certified Public Accountant license in January 2001. In 2007, Grant joined The Clorox Company as an Assistant Manager in Finance/Accounting. Grant collaborated with cross-functional partners to prepare quarterly forecasts and calendars, oversaw the close process and reconciliations, and provided updates and recommendations to senior leadership during the S&OP process. Grant joined Wente Vineyards in 2012 as an Accounting Manager, and is currently serving as Senior Accounting Manager.
Grant Hughes attended West High School and received a diploma. Grant then pursued further education at UC Santa Barbara, where they studied Business/Economics with an emphasis in accounting and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.
