Aamir Abbas

Aamir Abbas is an experienced anesthesiologist and pain specialist currently practicing at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital since July 2023. Previously, Aamir completed a Pain Medicine Fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock from July 2022 to July 2023, where notable contributions included serving as the healthcare track lead for the HackDartmouth 2023 hackathon and advising on the development of a novel medical device. Anesthesiology residency was completed at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center from July 2019 to July 2022, during which Aamir was involved with professional organizations such as the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Beth Israel Innovation Group. As Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer at Aetherian Medical, LLC, Aamir aimed to create accessible innovative medical devices, including a low-cost ventilator under development for FDA EUA approval. Prior military experience includes serving with the US Navy as a Digital Vanguard Medical Officer and Naval Flight Surgeon. Aamir holds a Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the University of New England and has extensive training and background in aerospace medicine and clinical practice.
