Nancy Croteau

Nancy Croteau has a diverse work experience that spans over several decades. Nancy started their career as a Human Resources Manager at Wal*Mart, where they handled payroll, benefits, hiring, training, and employee relations. Nancy also played a key role in maintaining compliance with employment laws and company policies. During their time at Wal*Mart, Nancy implemented various initiatives, such as a follow-up training interview and incentive programs for promoting safety in the workplace.

After leaving Wal*Mart, Nancy worked as an HR Consultant and Recruiter at Community Partners - Strafford County. In this role, they helped reconfigure and organize the HR Department, focusing on labor compliance, record retention, and policy adherence. Nancy also streamlined operating procedures and improved customer service for employees.

Following their assignment at Community Partners, Nancy joined Alltran Health Services as a Senior Benefits and Eligibility Specialist. Nancy utilized their expertise in NH/Maine Medicaid guidelines/qualifications and became a Certified Application Counselor for the Affordable Care Act. Nancy assisted patients in obtaining medical coverage under Medicaid or the Health Exchange, helping their assigned hospital recoup lost revenue.

Currently, Nancy serves as the Lead Financial Counselor at Wentworth-Douglas Hospital's Seacoast Cancer Center.

Nancy Croteau has a degree in Electronic Instrument Mechanic with a specialization in Navigation/Depth Systems - Nuclear Submarines from Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
