Richard King

Richard King is a highly experienced Trauma and Acute Care Surgeon currently serving at Portsmouth Regional Hospital and Wentworth-Douglass Hospital since December 2023 and March 2023, respectively. In addition, Richard holds the position of Commander in the Medical Corps of the US Navy Reserve since April 2022. Previous experience includes roles as a Trauma Medical Director and Interim Chief of Surgery at Central Maine Healthcare, as well as surgical positions at numerous hospitals including Massachusetts General Hospital and Northern Light Mercy Hospital. Richard's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College and extensive training in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care from Hershey Medical Center. Additional studies at Cornell University and several other institutions have further enhanced Richard's expertise in medical and leadership disciplines.
