Dr. Tom Orben

Dr. Tom Orben is an experienced early stage investor currently working at WENVEST Capital since October 2023, following a role at Possible Ventures from February 2022 to March 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Doctoral Candidate and Research Associate at the Entrepreneurship & Family Firm Institute (EFFI) from January 2019 to January 2022, a Business Development Intern at Koio in late 2018, and a Venture Capital Intern at Dieter von Holtzbrinck Ventures in mid-2017. Dr. Orben holds PhDs from both the Stockholm School of Economics and EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht, as well as BSc degrees from Duquesne University and the University of Cologne.
