Raj Batchu

Raj Batchu has extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at WEPA since January 2011. Prior to this role, Raj worked at Verizon Data Services for nearly nine years, holding positions as Software Engineer and participating in the Software System Architect Program, where architecture for the VzWorks alert notification system was developed. Earlier experience includes a Software Engineer Intern position at Ericsson IP Infrastructure in 2002, focusing on router software, and another internship at MPI Software Technology, where Raj contributed to middleware technologies and developed fault-tolerant message-passing software for space-based clusters. Raj holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Osmania University.
