Annan Zhang

Annan Zhang has diverse work experience in software engineering. Annan currently works as a Software Engineer at WePay since 2022. Previously, in 2021, they interned at WePay as a Software Engineer Intern. Prior to that, Annan worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at UC Santa Barbara in 2019, where they analyzed and improved the efficiency of ShuffleNet in image recognition. In 2018, they interned at Siemens Digital Industries Software, where they developed a web app and implemented Redis to improve website loading time. In 2017, Annan worked as a Software Engineering Technician at Shanghai STEP Robot Co., Ltd., contributing to the design and programming of a control system for six-axis cable robotics.

Annan Zhang completed their high school education at Shanghai Jincai High School from 2012 to 2015 and received a High School Diploma. They then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science at UC Santa Barbara from 2016 to 2020. Annan Zhang furthered their education by pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at New York University from 2020 to 2022.
