Biplap Sarkar

Biplap Sarkar has held various roles at WePay, starting with a position as a Software Engineer from January 2015 to June 2016. Biplap then progressed to the role of Senior Software Engineer from July 2016 to July 2018, followed by Staff Software Engineer from August 2018 to February 2019. Currently, Biplap is employed at WePay as an Engineering Leader starting from February 2019. Prior to their tenure at WePay, they worked at Tata Consultancy Services as a Systems Engineer from October 2009 to July 2013. Additionally, Biplap completed a Summer Engineering Internship at WePay from May 2014 to August 2014.

Biplap Sarkar has a strong educational background in computer science and engineering management. Biplap began their academic journey in 2003 at the University of Jammu, where they pursued a Bachelor of Computer Application degree in Computer Science. Following this, they attended the National Institute of Technology Durgapur from 2006 to 2009, earning a Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) degree specializing in Computer Science. Biplap then enrolled at the University at Buffalo in 2013, where they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science, which they completed in 2015. To further enhance their knowledge and skills, they recently attended Penn State University from 2020 to 2022, where they pursued a Master's degree in Engineering Management. Biplap has continuously sought to expand their expertise in both technical and managerial aspects of the field through their educational pursuits.
